(...) i concur (not as a woman!.. hehe)... my NLSO looks at my 8880, 8480, 8448, and my emerging blacktron I collection and just shakes her head... but i bought the flying ninja's fortress just cause she thought it looked so cool.. we built it (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) Excellent suggestion. I can't help but think that ldraw technology is necessary for the parts ordering system. This would prevent them from using proprietary technology which may have held up this in the past. There are alot of web developers (...)   Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) What a GREAT idea Ray. Also, I think it would be safe to say that we'd be ok if there were links from current sets to the Lego web site to buy them. Kinda like some of the sets that say\said "You may be able to purchase this set online at (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

I have to add my voice to everyone else's here, and agree with the comments about Huw, in his shoes, I would've put them up also, when he got jumped on he couldnt've acted in a more responsible manner. Now, to the comment Frank made about Todd (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Port Block Trading Post (was: Who needs some Spare Parts?)

Peter Callaway & Jamie Obrien wrote all manner of interesting stuff about having an Australian want/trade webpage. I know its tacky and simple, but how's this grab you? (URL) .au email addresses would need to supply an Australian mailing address. Do (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.au)

  6560, 6441 @ Kay-Bee in Burlington Mall, Burlington MA

Wicked cool price on 6560 ($49.99 IIRC) and 6441 ($25.99, again IIRC) at Kay-Bee in Burlington Mall. Kinda surprising, given Kay-Bee's inability to stock anything good LEGO-wise lately, plus I've never seen 6560 available in the US anywhere I've (...)
