Re: better scans of the 2000 arctic polar bears?

(...) Domesticating Polar Bears!? Polar Bears are the only mammal on earth that will attack a human unprovoked. In truth every one of those Arctic minifigs should have a revolver or rifle. The first thing an Alaskin and I would assume Canadian (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  servo control

Hi, can somebody help me with my problem, please? 1. the 'servo_a7.icb' and 'servo_a7.asm' files have been downloaded from the Handyboard page and they are free of Ctrl M's or Ctrl J's. however, when i try loading the 'servo_a7.icb' file, i get (...)   Re: Help!

I am surprised no one has mentioned the fibblesnork minifig guide. This is an excellent way to determine what figs go with a set. John DiR has turned it inside out so you can root through figs and determine what sets they go with. I have to go to (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Update on Technic Box #1 (Canadian Tour)

What's the deal?? These boxes started in July and we are now in December. There has been no update for many of them for weeks... Can the last person to have the Technic box send some note to move it forward. Looks like the 'Canada Tour' was a dismal (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Blacktron

(...) <sarcasm> Haven't heard this one before. </sarcasm> Talked to TLG many many times, and because the way marketing works, they're not going to do it. The only possibility is a slim chance of a re-release in limited quantities of original (not (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Castle structure advice...

(...) This sounds similar to the Night Lord's Castle Tower setup. It is resting between two support bricks that run the length of the tower's base, a table at the front, a fortified wall behind offering support, on top of a pair of tiles that are 1 (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: LEGOZ 2000

(...) Count me in. C'mon all you other Sydneysiders, let's get this one off the ground. It would definitely pay to post a reminder closer to the day. I'd previously suggested OzLUG or SydLUG, although technically we're not a UG in the true sense of (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Waiting for Y2K sets

I made an inquiry to a local TRU this evening about the 6091 (King Leo's Castle). The man on the phone did some typing on the keyboard and told me that it was expected at the distribution point (Orlando FL for this store) sometime between 12/6 and (...)   Re: Castle structure advice...

(...) Perhaps the use of plates resting on tiles may work. For example, the room below could be 8x10 (studs). Assuming you provide the proper supports, you could have a room above that's 6x8, fit inside the room below. I'm not sure if you get what I (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Dimensions of a SD40 and GP35

(...) No, it's true. Showing you people how good I am HAS improved the state of the art, because I got better after being exposed to those "All the Johns are deluded that they are adequate" creations of yours. Some sort of opposites principle at (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: FreeNetnames comes up trumps!

(...) Yes, I was wondering that myself... when I looked at it earlier today, all it showed was the picture. The other stuff Lugnet shows is important as well. (especially MSRP!!! <GD&R>) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.publish)

Re: When is "Not an Auction" really an auction?

(...) BTW, one thing which hasn't been brought up yet (that I've seen) is the labels for the newsgroups... lugnet.market.auction -> implies auctions lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade -> implies buying, selling, trading, negotiating, bartering, etc. The (...)   Re: Advent Calendar Fun!

I did the man with the beard thing once, but I used an all black body and gave him the black top hat. I wasn't sure if he looked more like Abraham Lincoln or an Amish man. P.S.   Re: Advent Calendar Fun!

I'm not complaining, I thought you did a great job with only a fig to work with! How about doing something every 3 or 4 days with all the parts too?? or maybe just 1 part from each set.. I'd go for at least 4 days then so you've got 4 parts to work (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Why etoys.com's toys for tots list has no Lego?
