Any ideas on how to do this with Technic?

Hi, I'm considering an Adventurers-themed Lego project that involves a structure that, when triggered, can sink into the "ground" (as on The Mummy). My general idea is that at four locations (two on each of opposite sides), the part of the structure (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Christmas tree decorations

(...) Neat! using the Shell sets like that is a nifty idea. They're so small and cute. I almost did a similar tree last year with Erector sets. Erector/Mechano had a whole line of mini-sets...trucks, planes, moto's etc. but they were a bit too heavy (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

(...) Not only is this a horrible looking and really cheapskate way to add "action" to the model, but it's something we've never seen in any of the films. It must be something from one of the novels, otherwise I'd wonder why Lucas would even (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: lego mindstorms

What can it do & Is it worth getting ... It all depends on you. If you are familiar with the Lego / Technics stuff already, use motors with it - now you can automate them. If you like / want to make mechanical things - this is and ideal set I bought (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  ordinery vs. action minifigs

I've been reading with interest some of the threads about how almost all the Lego minifigs, especially Lego, are action-oriented (soldiers and stuff), and how few "normal folk" there are. I guess Lego is assuming that kids would find these boring. (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

(...) The TRU in Laurel, MD has four or five of the 1782's in stock, but I don't think that they are going to be going anywhere at the list price of $49.99, or maybe it was $59.99. Hi Luis, thanks for your help. I tried both versions, the one using aioread and the one using the ioctl. Both run better than before, but still don't work (both give similar results).   Severl Parts lots on Ebay from #7150

To All; I have posted several parts lots to E-Bay for my roommate Tony. He has a few extra sets he wants to sell off, so he wants to post all the parts on Ebay of the 7150 Y Wing and TIE Fighter set.   Question about parts
