  Unknown Old LEGO Pieces....

Recently I came across some old LEGO bricks that I never even knew existed (the 4 types of "macaroni" bricks). Now there may be another, but I don't have more than a diagram on a box. Has anyone ever heard of the following bricks: a 2x12 and a 2x14 (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Color Line Promotional sets 1955 and 2149

I have received a few orders, but I have room for more orders. I will leaving for the trip with Color Line Friday evening. I must have received any new orders before that.   FOTD (Day or Decade? You Decide)

  Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) Aha! I don't remember that pain, but that sounds about right! That would certainly explain why that double-tube plate made parts connected to it so difficult to pull apart! :-( --Todd [followups to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands] (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) I believe that would take care of the problem. CSTUD.DAT wouldn't be recognized by LDraw and LEdit as anything special--these two programs recognize files named stud*.dat as special files; LDraw substitutes stu2*.dat when the fast draw option (...)   Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) I'd say, brickwise, Tyco's biggest problem is they didn't round off the edges of the bricks. You thought it hurt to step on *LEGO* bricks? Those Tyco pieces were doubly painful. Also, the lack of rounding made it hard to pry the pieces apart. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: servo program

Here's a simple program that will make a servo move as the knob on the Handyboard is turned: int i; void main() { init_expbd_servos(1); while(1) { i= knob(); i = (i*10)+1000; printf("val %d\n",i); msleep(20L); servo0 = i; } } (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: servo program

Dear ?: First off, your program contains an infinite loop; statement return(0); will never be reached. Also you told it that main does not return a value, yet you used e return in the end. This will generate a compiler error for sure. I belief the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
