  Re: Homebrew rotation sensor idea

I'd also suspect this, having worked at a company that manufactured optical encoders, most of these things are sinusoidal. That is far from a bad thing though. If you build two of these and get them 90 degrees apart so you are seeing both a sine and (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Anyone using motors, etc. in Castle creations?

(...) Actually, you can get the lights to project pretty far by placing one of those silver headlight dishes around the light bulb. This works great for the light on the front of a steam train. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  18" Ronald McDonald

Re: LEGO trains...The Future of Model Railroading?

(...) Agreed. (...) Perhaps, but somehow I find decals an excusable exception. They have so many applications <sorry> other than trains. Think Joe Davenport and his farm, etc things. Hi Erin, The 'water' was just a piece of blue poster board over which I placed a 2' x 4' fluorescent light panel.
