  Re: NQC wishlist

Dave, All of these additions to NQC sound great ... especially the char and bool data types! There is no way that we (all the NQC users) can adequately express our appreciation for all of your work in developing and freely distributing NQC. I hope (...)   Re: LRemote version 1.1 available

(...) Hmm. On the OmniRemote website, they make this statement: "The (3Com OS3.0 upgrade card) IR is more powerful than a true Palm III, more powerful than the OmniRemote Module and sometimes even more than the original remote." This leads me to (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

  Re: Flame sensors?

supposedly UV sensors are capable of detecting flames well. But I simply take the Sharp infrared reflective sensors and just use the detector. -p (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: New fighter

(...) I will be doing red alert and c&c 2 stuff as well. I am doing the stuff in ldraw. Check out the models group for a hummvee, a nod buggy and an apachie atack helicopter. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Need Horse Trappings from Knight's Challenge

(...) I do, I'm just trying to liquidate some assets so I can afford them. :) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Looking for Tractor site

A few months back, there was a web site posted that had some very realistic renderings of tractors and other farm equipment in Lego. Lots of John Deere stuff. I could have sworn that I book marked it, but I haven't found it in any of my links. Does (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Homebrew rotation sensor idea

I learned that general-purpose LEDs are NOT polarized. (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

(...) I assume you don't have a map in front of you because you would be taking the LONG way to Paducah if you did that! Paducah is only 150 miles or a little under two and a half hours from St. Louis. All you do is take I-64 to I-57 to I-24 and (...)   Re: More Questions from Another Train Newbie

(...) Take the track sections apart where you want the gap, cover the metal ends of both sections with tape and put back together. Black electrical tape is an obvious choice but, is a little thick. I use silver duct tape. It matches the color of the (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: CFD: Subgroups for lugnet.org.us & lugnet.trains.org

(...) Like I said in the following post I think there is a potential need for a private mailing list although I think that this structure would greatly reduce the need. Please read this post for my reasoning. (URL) K. The New England LEGO Users (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.org.us)

Re: Need Horse Trappings from Knight's Challenge

(...) I believe they are called Horse Bardard's. I suppose no one likes yellow walls with black tudor that are on Ebay? (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  regional group forming

To those folks who read lugnet.loc.us.fl, but not lugnet.log.us.ga... A group of people from (mostly) Georgia are trying to form a regional Lego users group for the southeast. You might want to pop in to lugnet.loc.us.ga and make your (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.fl)

  Re: CFD: Subgroups for lugnet.org.us & lugnet.trains.org

Todd, Could we have this yesterday? :-) ... (...) Many more on the way for sure, if what I see going on is accurate, including a group in Italy, The South Eastern US, and a Train club in St. Louis among others. (...) Although I don't think NELUG is (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.org.us)

  Re: SELUG! ( was GALUG?)

<Blatant Plug> BellSouth Buzz, BellSouth's web portal, offers free web sites to "community" organizations. It's pretty easy to set up, and I think it comes with a discussion group. We could try this as our web page. I would be happy to set it up. Is (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ga)

Re: LUG for "Dixie" (Southeast US)

Say "DXLUG" out loud three times, and guess the euphemism that might be associated with it. Still want to use it? I know, my mind is in the gutter... ;-) (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ga)

Re: Which to buy on sale? 7151 for $19.99 or 7130 for $12.99?

<TEMPT> What parts wouldn't you be interested in? (sound of drooling) It is a given that "space sucks" (due to the vacuum), so you should have you qualms about parting with say...   Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

(...) mid (...) and (...) Unfortunately, I can't do that quite yet... I am in the middle of getting a new home built. (And I don't think we want to wait until april/may either).
