(...) I am not 100% sure, but I think it may be a coil. Many devices have these and they serve as RF interference supression. Since at least some theories have the waveform from the controller being PWM, RF supression is important... (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Hey everyone, I was in my local Zany Brainy today and noticed that, among all the flotsam being unpacked (read Pokemon), there were almost *35* Technic Space Shuttles. None were priced. Whee, just finished building a set of 5 of the Shell promo sets... thanks Niko! I noticed something about the slopes in the set, though The ferrari racecar uses a 2x3 low slope without marling (1) that has the ferrari prancing horse logo printed on (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Agree with the sentiment but slightly disagree on fact. a 1x1x6 is much sturdier under torsional or shear stress than a stack of 6 1x1s are. Has anybody figured out the meaning of values got from the BATTERY sensor ? Currently, my little testproggy "cputw(BATTERY>>6);" displays F9, and i guess my batteries are close to their end of life.
