Re: More Pic's of... Re: 2 person Heavy Assault Walker

(...) Don't forget to check stuff you made, they might be hiding! I'm pretty sure 7151 is the set that comes with the reversed colors(1); have you checked the instructions? I know that there is a set that does, but I may be mistaken about which set. (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: US S@H Specials Nov 18 - 21, 1999

Hi Tom, Thanks for the information. I appreciate it, as I'm sure a lot of people here do. I do have one question: I just called S@H, and the operator told me that there aren't any S@H specials right now. Do you think I should call back again? - Dave (...)   Re: Enhanced Search

I'm surprised at how much I've used it today. It's so easy to find interesting stuff on ebay now, and without sucking their listings (which they don't like). (...) I can't think of a way to do that without creating a databse of sets, which would be (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Is 6097 Night Lords Castle worth it

(...) I'm gonna have to disagree with the "doesn't have a lot of interesting bits", but that's mostly due to my definition of "interesting" and "a lot". I liked the fact that it had: 2 sets of doors, dark grey wall sections, inverse red slopes, the (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 2001 SW Lego

(...) Get the Delorean out of the garage, rummage through the garbage can for some stuff to feed into the "Mr. Fusion [tm]" to get the 1.21 gigawatts, prep the hover circuits, fire up the flux capacitor, and let's _GO_!!! :-) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Lego Store Opening in Virginia

(...) Yes, it is. I believe someone who went to the Georgia opening met and talked to the Manager for the Virginia Store. Also, one of the members of WAMALUG has spoken to the Virginia Store manager a couple times. Jeff P.S. Only Nineteen and a Half (...)   Re: Is 6097 Night Lords Castle worth it

(...) If you want to start getting involved in the castle theme then I would recommend 6097, because 2 years down the road when you're looking at that old 1998 catalog dreaming of that Night Lords Castle to add to your other castles it may not be (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Lego Store Opening in Virginia

(...) Hi Jeff, Is this an actual LEGO store, similar to the LEGO outlet store that recently opened in Georgia? Or is this a toy store that happens to sell LEGO...? (I'm guessin the former, given the title of the post, but it's almost too good to be (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.us.md, lugnet.loc.us.dc, lugnet.loc.us.va)

  Re: Tuesday Morning Sale

(...) Not me, though I did brave the small knot of other day-late shoppers. Pretty much picked over, as I expected, but I did grab a Wave Jump Racers and a Carriage Ride - will probably keep the white structural bits and part most of the rest out so (...)   RE: Jumping 'bots?

I remember that jumping robot but I think that it was more than 10 years ago... I'm pretty sure I was in High School at the time. If I had to guess I would say 1984-1985 timeframe (or even older?). Somewhat related I remember seing a TV program in (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Is 6097 Night Lords Castle worth it

(...) 6097 doesn't have a lot of interesting bits. There's a couple doors, and some revolving wals, but it's really (IMHO) kinda boring for straight play value. If all you're looking for is display/play, and not as a parts source - I would suggest (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)
