Re: Is 6097 Night Lords Castle worth it

Yeah, I like to just build them as display models every now and then. My apartment has very limited space(especially with the 8448 sitting on the top shelf) and storage is an issue. It looks really neat, but since I don't have any others in its (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Tuesday Morning Sale

(...) Follow up: I am very suprised at Lego. The box that the bricks came in was interesting in that it was obviously bound for Mexico, which I had never seen before. There was a big red sticker plastered on the front that said in large type (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Decision - Robolab 4 pak vs 4 RIS packages!

If you are doing Robotics as a long-term project, go with one Team Challenge set for every 3 or 4 students. The ROBOLAB "Team Challenge" Set is the exact same set as the RIS 1.0, except that it comes in a nice plastic green tub with good storage on (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.edu)

  Re: Jumping 'bots?

(...) I remember a Scientific American article from a decade or so back on walking bots. (I’m now getting close the point where I’ll be reading the “25 Years Ago” articles for the second time, looking forward to that.) As I remember they discussed (...)   Re: Enhanced Search

(...) This is awesome. So awesome in fact, that I must ask, can you do this for sets that you DON'T have the instructions for? There is a bit of a feature war potentially developing here between you and Lugnet/pause which is IMHO, good for you, good (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.publish)

  MJ65 - Puma

I just finished up the work on my Puma page: (URL) uses pieces from the Adventurer sets 5956-Expedition Balloon and 5958-Mummy's Tomb. I kind of wish it had doors (or even treads) but I still think it turned out okay. ..joseph g (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build)
