  Re: Silver bricks

Good Luck ! TLG included one silver brick in each of the 25th Anniv bulk buckets / tubs. Set numbers were in the range 3025-3030 with 3029 & 3030 being duplo sized. So you would have to locate quite a number of tubs/buckets or find someone selling (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: I'm Through Coloring Inside the Lines for Awhile...

I, too, buy LEGO sets for the parts, but I normally build the main model anyway. If it's a small model, I try to build it without looking at the instructions. When the model is built, I tear it down again almost immediately and sort the pieces into (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

Never too old to play with Lego.

I found an article in Computer Games magazine about mindstorms the very last sentence is: "After all your never too old to play with Lego blocks, you're just required to make fancier stuff." If only TLG (TLC?) had this mentality. (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Wheels

Thanks for the info, Mark. And bugger. You don't know how much this is going to hurt my pride. I CAN'T STAND INSECTOIDS! My collection has so far been blissfully free of them - despite several near half price offers I've seen. Now it appears that I (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Doh! Frogot to add you OH guys (Chicago Legofest)

As I posted my notice for the hopefully upcoming Chicago Legofest, I forgot to include the OH local group. (...) I believe that silver bricks only came in the 2x4 size. They were included in various 'silver anniversary' buckets and tubs (both LEGO and Duplo), and you only got 1 brick per product. I've got 23 2x4 bricks myself, but am not expecting to (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Yellow Airplane (biplane?)

I was wondering if anyone can help me out, and I know there is someone out there that can.
