Greetings! The title about says it all. I stopped by this afternoon and bought 2 Snowspeeders (one from each of two store displays) and an X-wing. Both of the Snowspeeders had a 2000 catalog. I have started an after-school robotics club at my kids' elementary school. I will be spending one hour a week each with groups of K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade, 6 kids in each group, working with the RIS set. The school is a gifted magnet school (...) I received my free (+$3.95 P&H) upgrade kit today and was pleasantly surprised ( or should that be AMAZED, Y-A-H-O-O-O-O!!!! and THANK YOU LEGO) to see that was NOT just a software upgrade, as I had thought, but the full #3803 "RIS 1.5 UPGRADE KIT" (...) See (URL) There is a serious weakness in this document, 'certification' is not clearly defined. This definitely needs to be addressed. Wes, I'm sorry; I missed the Rcx Motor info... If the Rcx Motors start/run with 6V but don't work with the Rcx Outputs, something is 'Funny'.
