  2000 Artic theme = space

Take a close look at the 2000 catalog scans. The new Artic theme is full of elements that are ideal for space. Similar hostile environment I suppose. Look at some of the walls in the buildings, the large one piece ones with windows in them. And what (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Check out that cool

(...) Congratulations on your winning entry! It's a well done model. BTW, I seem to remember that the information on your entry stated that you were 17 years old. Is this true?   Re: Will Town Die in 2000?

(...) Yes, clearly you can buy and build from the tubs. Unfortunately, I cant really identify a tub that contains the sort of pieces that I want to build towns from. These mainly come in the town sets, like the glass walls and other features that (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: What the...?

(...) What, that the t-rex has dragon hands? Would you rather have that LEGO made all new molds whenever they made new sets? Personally, I'm very happy to see that they use as many old parts as possible in the new sets. The facts that the alligator (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
