  Re: More 2000 comments

(...) Hmmmm - I wonder if that direct catalogue represents some recognition - at least for North America - that some people do find out about sets available in other countries and want them. Many of the 'not available in any store' sets in that (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: The "geography" of local space

Hi, Paul, (...) Trust me, Stanford has THOUSANDS of computers other than mine to worry about! Oh, and it's not my personal workstation, though I handle most of its technical operation. We have about one computer per two people in our research group. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)

  2000 Catalogue

Since Todd has now gotten me into the habit of pretending to myself that TLG might be even remotely interested in what I have to say, I thought I might drop an electron or two about the new catalogue. I read the 1999 catalogue with next to no (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Different Idea over CastleDastville

(...) Why no STEP commands? Sensibly laid out STEP commands can make a submodel much more easy to understand by a person looking at it. And I can't see why including the STEP commands is a hassle for anyone using the DAT files. Fredrik (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  BrickShelf

I was just looking through the new catalogue, and it occurred to me what a wonderful thing it was to be able to do so. Thanks to Todd Lehman for Lugnet, and Kevin Loch for BrickShelf. Richard Still baldly going... Check out Port Block at (URL) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Better sets for adults

(...) One of the old regular-posters on rec.toys.lego found a factory that would produce similar-to-LEGO bricks (but not similar enough to infringe on patents) in massive quantities.   2000 Town construction sets

Looks like we'll have lots of new town construction sets for 2000: (URL) it may just be me, but I think that these sets don't look as much juniorized as the 1999 town sets. True, they're still juniorized, but not as much, are they? Fredrik (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
