Re: More scale questions (Was: Scale of Lego)

(...) I'm definitely no expert on train scales, since I don't get involved with any model railroading. But I do find it interesting that the original LEGO Scale (Town Plan scale) where the classic LEGO door is 3 bricks high is very close to 'HO' (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Castle 2000 Eye-candy

(...) Ahhh... ok. I don't know if I like the way it's been done on some of the sets, but it is a cool idea in general... The stone tower bridge was actually pretty good about it, with technic pegs holding the sections together... but some of the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle 2000 Eye-candy

(...) Or what he might have been referring to was that some of them come apart into interlocking modules, like the Stone Tower Bridge, and others have sections that are easily removable, like the prison on top of the first-year set that is (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Dk UK Lego Tour reaches BROMLEY

Sounds like a good idea to me! My trader friend, Joyce lives within walking distance of Bromley town centre, and I need to visit her before LEGOfest in order to buy up some trade material 8-) If anyone else plans to attend Bromley, LMK, and I'll see (...)   Re: Castle returns for 2000!

(...) Yaay! Real castle! Don't like the helmet, though. It reminds me of the Renaissance too much, and that is my least favorite Pre-Industrial Revolution period. (*sigh*) Oh, well, maybe there'll be some cool musketeers! (to fight my homemade (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Castle 2000 Eye-candy

(...) What Richard was reffering to is that the Ninja castles are built up out of wall modules which interlock, and can be combined in different ways. (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: ZNAP Adverts in UK

(...) I've been working on a train bridge that would NOT be possible (at least as concise and strong as it is) without Znap. They make excellent structural components for large Technic structures. I want MORE! If you'd like to help me obtain them, (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.znap)

  IR

Hi All. Is there a way to set the IR transmitter to something like 'long range mode'? I would like to have a more powerful beam for proximity detection. I've tried lnp_logical_range(1), doesn't seem to make a difference. The problem is that I don't (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Classic Tub on sale at Zellers

I've posted the inventory of 4291 in db.inv, (URL) readers can judge for themselves... I was hoping for more than 18 plates in a 760-piece set (which indeed it is, contrary to the Zellers flyer which says "800+") but it seems like a good set all the (...) (...) Castle interlocking sections? Do you mean the 5x1x5 castle wall piece with a window in the center? What sets do these get used in of the Ninja sets? Offhand, I can only think of the log wall sections... or maybe you mean another piece? DaveE (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)
