There must me. Japan is the source of 6.55% of hits in my web site. That's the 3rd biggest after the US (69%) and the UK (8.02%). Scott A Dr S. Arthur Edinburgh, Scotland. (URL) Gilles S.C.   Re: lego Technic "class"

I've thought about using two motors for steering. Do they turn at exectly the same rate? (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.edu, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Scout secrets revealed

Hi Eric, thanks for digging into the Scout and revealing all those amazing features! Last Sunday at the Mindfest I met a Lego representative who confirmed that there's much more than most of people image packed into the Scout. He told me they're (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Ball joints and the 8440

(...) I'm not too happy with this steering setup, as it will only allow the front wheels to turn by a quite small angle. On the other hand, the parts included in the 8440 set can be used to make independent steering wheel suspension (you will also (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.technic)

  Trein set 4560

(25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.nl)

  Re: Scout secrets revealed

Additional observations: - at the start of any program, the Scout emits barcode 004 which triggers a 'steam puff' sound in the Code Pilot (if it's in record mode). The Scout seems to emit no other barcodes (but motor left, motor right, motor float (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: lego Technic "class"

(...) One other idea on that same line of thought -- the very first thing I wanted to do as soon as I got the two motors hooked together and working (which really only takes a couple of seconds) was to make the wire longer -- to put more distance (...)   Re: lego Technic "class"

(...) Last week I built a little non-robot vehicle using four of the new internally geared-down Technic 9v motors. Two of the motors were connected directly to the wheels, the other two motors served as human-cranked generators to power the motors (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.edu, lugnet.technic)
