  Re: Current Projects?

Um, I thought it was, I made a Z-95 in LEOCad and posted jpegs on my website, but noone has commented, so the project is halted. Right now I'm trying to get the Assult Gunboat figured out. :) (...) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=...=-=-=-=-=- jmbrown@mines.edu (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't we already have a foot in the door? Didn't someone (Mike Poindexter?) post that we could get a bulk order accepted for $.06 per piece for the bricks available in the standard tub? It seems to me that that is an (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Ideas for a court jester?

(...) As it happens, I discovered a black one today in the Gungan Sub I just built. It has four studs (one each side) and one on top as usual. <ICS> (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

High praise for TLG after seeing 4288 bucket for first time

Dear LEGO, It seems there has been a lot of TLG bashing going on lately, in several threads, in various newsgroups. I must admit, I'm as guilty as anyone when it comes to making complaints about the current state of LEGO. So I thought it only fair (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Launch of new site: SimiLego

(...) The city uses some loose track pieces and virtually all of the monorail track of 3 6399s, 2 6990s, 1 6991, 5 6347s, and 2 6921s. SimiLego now links to a mostly complete set list. Glad you liked "PlastiCity". My wife and I actually combed (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: NELUG - Some things we learned while presenting at Mindfest

(...) It can be a very hard ballance to strike. I know, having been there, done that from both sides. I've exibited since I was 7 or so (rallied a steam traction Engine when I was 9 for 3 years). It is so hard to strike a ballance between "don't (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.org.us, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.general)

Re: NELUG - Some things we learned while presenting at Mindfest

(...) Na, all you need to do is call on the RCN. I'd be -quite- happy to show up, even in uniform (that always gets looks, even at school, where we are in uniform 4/5 days...) I could even build a model of my ship (using white instead of gray (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) or (...) AirSpeeder (...) Do keep in mind that you/we were presenting at a place where "hands-on" is a primary ethos. In most of the exibits adults and children were encouraged to touch, experiment, and create. The proximity to the (...) I'd like to add my congratulations on a totally awesome display. I think you were very restrained in your dealings with the less respectful public. I'm very posessive about my Lego and other hobbies, and my young nephews and nieces know that Uncle (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.org.us, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.general)

Re: It works! iMac and RIS

(...) Speaking of RoboLab, Ben Erwin had a table at MindFest past this weekend with several demo-arrangements of RoboLab. I'd known from the screenshots that it was pretty nice, but being able to talk to Ben and ask questions and actually see the (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
