Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

This sounds something like the other message that I posted last night. (...) there (...) send (...) you (...) Remember that to get TLG to work with us, we need to be flexible. And we need to start getting a group want list with alternatives. Jodi (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: NELUG at Mindfest, A quick summary and more photo's.

(...) And as if he hasn't suffered enough indignities in this thread, I spelled Michael Gasperi's name wrong. Memory OK, but verification of facts better! At least I was able to help him secure one of the coveted "MindFest Staff" tee- shirts. (...)   Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) Well, people already ARE doing things like this. I buy sets that have some parts I want but also parts others want. But I'm getting tired of it. If you want to keep doing the buy/sort/auction/sell thing that's up to you, but you'll never be (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: something nelug could do

I would recommend against such a thing. sounds unprofessional. TLG may only find such request for contact annoying and see it as coming from a niave view. It also may just support their vision of fanatical young men who live for toys and sci-fi. (no (...) (...) I'll be posting pics and my opinions of them when they become a reality. For things like this, minifig weapons I'll probably never see produced again, I don't have a problem at all with "artificially" creating them. (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) NNNNOOO...OOO!!!...!!! Someone found my secret stash! There were 23 of these at the start of the year. I've bought four. I have kept hoping that they would lower the price further (all 23 went unsold until July, when they did an inventory. (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) That may or may not be true, though. I remember reading several accounts that indicate that TLG makes just enough of a part to fill the need for that year's sets. So just because a certain Model Team truck has a couple of train doors in it (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
