Re: new pieces (was Re: Wot no RCX power connector?)

Re: Wot no RCX power connector?

Thanks very much for posting the scan of the 1.5 bricks. It's helped answer questions we've all had about what "new" stuff would be included. Of course, now we all want to find out exactly what some of them do! I suppose asking for scans of the new (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi Legofans, Sorry to disturb you, but this mail may risk interest you. It's not 2 references, but 3 new Lego technic references I'm going to place at the end of this week.   Re: SCAN OF SLAVE 1 on my website now!

(...) I was thinking the wheels may be the large (6x6/8x8 don't recall) round tile with 4 center studs. I wonder what the blue energy ball will be, or is it just something in the picture. It could be a trans-blue soccer ball. (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

new pieces (was Re: Wot no RCX power connector?)

From: "Jesper Kjaer" <jesperkj@vip.cybercity.dk> (...) Any idea what the blue brick 4 rows down in the last column is for? It looks very strange. The double yellow connector (3rd column, 12 rows down) is kind of interesting as well. I don't think (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

RE: Wot no RCX power connector?

(...) I don't think so - it looks the same shape as the pictures of RIS 1.0 RCXs I've seen. I doubt they would change the external shape as it would cause problems with plans in expansion kits etc. I expect there's just a lot of empty space inside. (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Wot no RCX power connector?

Re: Wot no RCX power connector?

Was that a 1.0 or 1.5? I'm hoping it's just the 1.5's, since there are still 1.0's around. I can't believe there wouldn't be an option for wall power (even with a funky idiot connector to prevent overvoltage). What about models that have large (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
