(...) Ummm, respectfully, yes. If the team took days to rework the code when control data tables change, then they were not using tools and methods appropriate to the task at hand. (...) Hmmm, I remember a thread a while back (maybe even on RTL) that discussed putting the tracks on a ledge and only having big turnarounds at the ends.
