  Re: Pink spaceship

Nice ship. This is the first one I´ve seen in pink. Now, you´ll just have to build one in minifig scale (not that ship, but perhaps some kind of shuttle) but pink parts are hard to come by, I own no pink parts.. The website itself is also nice, the (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: Star Wars LEGO "promo", "give-a-way"

Try asking in one of the market groups, since you're asking to buy something, which is off topic for here. You've already reached everyone in this group and if you didn't get any response, no one here has it. Hope that helps. You may want to review (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Lowest Common Denominator (was: Re: Lego.com - new look)

(...) I think the most accurate math term is actually the "greatest common factor" or "greatest common divisor" (GCF or GCD for short), which refers to the largest natural number which equally divides two whole numbers in question. In non-math (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: Lego sale at Kmart, coupon at TRU

(...) Always scan the box, many times the final markdown sticker never makes it on the box. Anytime I see a clearance sticker I scan to check the real price and I have been pleasantly surprised. Julie (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  York Lego report

York is a very fine historical city, but totally devoid of good Lego. Only one toyshop in the City Centre (Toymaster) which had only current top-dollar offerings. TRU at the ubiquitous retail park was much the same. The only sets worthy of even the (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

[Followup-to lugnet.off-topic.geek] (...) *grin* (...) Oh, certainly an amazing number of people use it wrongly. (...) But the R2-D2 set (9748 Droid Development Kit) -is- a MindStorms set. It's just not an RCX-based MindStorms set. (LEGO MINDSTORMS is a whole division of TLG and a whole product line. The RCX is just one brick in a series.) MINDSTORMS != RCX (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
