I've got a layout set up in my bedroom. My roomate and I rescued a ping-pong table from being thrown away (basically we were asked to throw it away, so we said ok and kept it.) We split it so we both have a 4.5 X 5 foot table in our rooms for LEGO. (...) (27 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

I agree that there are sets that I would pay a little more for (the hopper car is one of them), but I have pretty limited resources and am trying to get other stuff too. I can offer some suggestions. Part of the fun of Lego MindStorms is figuring things out on one's own ... but a few hints probably won't hurt. Because the light sensor is particularly sensitive to infrared (IR), you should be able to use it to locate (...) (27 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
