  Re: Great ideas

(...) Those were the good old days. A lego was a lego head, and they'd work anywhere. No stupid snarly faces, or snaggle-tooths, or constipated star heroes. Just uniform plastic happiness. :) Steve (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Clipping / CCW / CW / INVERT

(...) No, when I look at the images I see real alpha-blended surfaces :) I've tried to turn backface culling in the transparent parts and they looked very ugly, it's better to draw everything in those cases. (...) Just a note to correct the (...) (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Busy Bee Trains in stock

I ordered a 3225 classic train at £39.95 and two 4536 blue hopper cars at £8.99 today. They still have 2150 stations and the 2126 goods wagon set in stock too I enquired after a cross over track, but they do not have them yet regards lawrence (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Somebody with a feedback of -2 is high bidder on my auction!

(...) Which is another problem with the feedback system--truly bad risks will never show up, because as soon as someone gets a bad feedback value, they'll just quit and make a new account. Steve (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Close-ups on rebelscum.com

Hello all, I decided to check out www.rebelscum.com this morning, just to see if they had posted any more pics from the new catalog. Unfortunately, they haven't posted any new ones, but they do have three higher-res scans from sections of the (...) (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Track parts naming scheme survey

(...) My 12V trains don't move when I put them on the 4.5V-only track :) Now seriously, maybe we could drop the "4.5" from the name and replace it with "old" but I don't think it's going to be a good idea. Of course we'd have to keep the current (...) (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Clipping / CCW / CW / INVERT

(...) I don't need the WINDING UNKNOWN, since it's redundant with CLIPPING OFF. When clipping is OFF you don't care the state of the winding. I am curious, what is CLIPPING -1 ? an UNKNOWN, CLIPPING when not found is assumed as OFF (the safe side), (...) (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Clipping / CCW / CW / INVERT

(...) touche'! (...) Not exactly! If the color has any transparency, force CLIPPING OFF, irrespective of what the file TAGS inform. (SIDE NOTE) when using the tag 0 CLIPPING ON you are not informing the program that it MUST do clipping, but instead (...) (27 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
