  Re: Animated Space Station

  Bring back the Wolfpack

One of my favorite castle themes, and one of the most under-developed, was the Wolfpack. The minifigs are cool and the two (count 'em ... one, two) sets that they produced were awesome, IMHO. I thought the tower model was well designed and comprised (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

Got my own "How Dare You" message from eBay ripoff artist

Heh, I just got this in the mail from someone I left neutral feedback on for trying to rip people off on the McDonalds set. ***** Just "who are you" to leave feedback about our auction on ebay since we have never been in contact with or from you. It (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Proposed: A New Kind of Timeline (was Re: The LD environment)

RE: R2-D2 Obsession (was Re: What about the Micro Scout?)

Hmmm...I feel a bit left out, maybe I'm only half geek....I thought the movie was about the princess. Certainly at thirteen I thought R2 was cool, but the princess, now THERE was something! Rock, paper, scissors...Cool hair beats droid dome. My wife (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: When should the 2000 Catalogue Appear?

(...) ALL of the above. :-) I am convinced that the new millenium starts in 2001 but I could care less (not much less, mind you) and will party like it's 1999 this year AND next. (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Position Finding/Mapping

(...) I assume you're talking about the type of robot platform shown here: (URL) four wheels travel the same amount regardless what direction the robot is moving. So, you won't get much from using multiple rotation sensors except to help average out (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 8448 Street Sensation Racing - Are you game?

(...) Well, as part of a course here at school, I have six RCXs, each with three light sensors and three rotation sensors. So that will be the rules when I run the race :) (...) Yeah- I had always wondered if the touch sensors could handle sensing (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

My thoughts on MFB1 and the general state of things. When this box left me (after Todd gave me the stuff to partition as I see fit) it had a lot of very beat up minifigs. The debate swirled around what to do with it. I had already put some minifigs (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: another thought on "Bid Siphoning"

Interesting idea. Do bid retraction comments show to anyone other than the seller though? Never checked.
