Re: Anyone built a curved bridge?

(...) especially (...) That's still too big! I try to keep thumbnails under 5Kb, usually 1 to 2Kb. My connection's pretty slow... Larger images should be under 10Kb, and I try to keep full size images (640x480+) between 20 and 50Kb. (...) Which (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.publish)

Re: FAQqage: How to get zero perspective from L3P?

(...) It's even easier than that. Just run C:\LDRAW\MODELS>l3p -o -cg30,45 -ca5 somedat.dat and L3P will automatically compute the radius for an angle of 5. I almost always change the camera angle to something between 30 and 50. (-ca30, -ca50) For (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.faq)

  JDH/UK Auction 3 - Trains

The two main sets consist of the train, track and engine driver only, i.e. no passengers, loads, platforms, road vehicles, etc. The speed regulators are available at no extra cost if required (240VAC @ 50/60Hz), but they will obviously increase (...) (...) I applied the above advice and now the page loads much faster. Thanks Lar, makes me appreciate your score of 1600 [1] much more. Paul [1] See RTL for running flame war reference that Larry is in (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.publish)

Re: RCX Controlled Air Compressor Tester

(...) The 8250 Rescue Sub is indeed a great way to start a pneumatics collection. Then just purchase more tubing, valves, and cylinders from S@H or Dacta. The Front End Loaded is a more expensive set with three large cylinders, two valves, a tank, (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

  Re: Inventories

(...) Problem is that I have no time to go through the learning curve for perl to set it up in that. I know Access. (...) Since Access is part of MS-Office, it will run on both the WinTel and Mac systems. It is not just for NT. Besides, if people (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  North-west Fest

OK, it's taken me a while to get organised, but here it is: probably the last Legofest of the millennium. Venue: my house, just outside Sandbach, Cheshire. About 2 miles from J17 on the M6, OS grid ref. SJ 746 594, or there abouts. Date: currently a (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Datsville Construcrtions Steam Roller)

(...) Odd. I was going to build a rock quarry/strip mine/construction yard/landfill and let other people stock it. Now, though, with Jonathan and others building public works, I probably won't. Unless, of course, nobody else wants to do it....:) (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Alternate Room

Lego my Lego! I stopped by the Campbell Public Library last night to check out the room. It's not as nice or as big as the Fukaya. It is building-locked in the middle of the library, so there are no windows. It is smaller than the Fukaya-maybe half (...) (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
