(...) You can't have the diodes on the motor because it goes in both directions. If you put a diode out there, you would have a dead short in one of the directions. I was looking through a catalog last night and noticed that the same minifig appears in THREE of the four large RR vehicles: 4940-Granite Grinder 4950-Loader Dozer 4970-Chrome Crusher Additionally, those are each one-man vehicles.
