  Insectoids at Safeway

Sorry if this is old news, I can't remember who's said what. But anyway: I've just picked up two insectoid sets 6919 (the one with six big blue wheels) & 6969 (the light & sound one with two small ships attached on the sides) for £8.99 and £12.99 (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Good vs. Evil

(...) Well, now that I think about, a more interesting question is: Are most castle minifigs gay? In all of castle there is the Forest Wench, the Guarded Inn Princess, the queen in the old "Jousting "? set, and the witch. So, with no women around, (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Anyone built a curved bridge?

(...) or (...) Here's a better picture (Thanks, Paul!): (URL) Conan lays the track down and builds the grey 'bed' to fit. Once that is done, he comes up with a support structure to hold it. Pretty darn clever he is... <grin> J1 (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Good vs. Evil

(...) Well, historically, LEGO has made very few "evil" minifigs. On that basis, I would assume that all the male castle minifigs are good and all the female minifigs are evil. :') (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Is MISB meaningless?

(...) By definition, yes! Mint doesn't mean perfect, mint (literally) means "from the mint," which is typically perfect, but not guaranteed.   Re: Lego at Gerf.Org

(...) Whoops, I meant that it was propagating the misperception that "domain name" equals "second-level domain name, followed by a dot, followed by first-level domain name" -- i.e., plonk.com or blarg.net or snoot.org. "We put the dot in .com!" (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Anyone built a curved bridge?

It's that time of the year again for me to start planning my Christmas train layout and one idea that hit me was a curved bridge. I've been thinking of using a simple 90' arc with no straight rails between the curved to extend the arc length. I (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)
