I built this as a double for trade or sale, and in doing so discovered that it was the very first issue of this set. See the current remarks in Lugnet.space for more info. (...) My vote is for the flat faced design. It generally takes up less room and (I think) is easier to incorporate into a design. Have you tried using a 2 x 1 x 1 panel instead of the 1 x 1 w/ headlight and tile design? I vaguely (sp) remember using (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

I have never seen/recognized a 9V piece for that purpose. But you can use the middle wheels from the 12V motor and fit them into the holes on the side of the 9V motor. I suspect that TLG put the holes there to eventually offer spare wheels, but (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)
