  Re: 5905 and 5906

Jason, I have seen 5906 Cheif Achku (or whatever he's called) only once at that was at a shop near me (UK) that was closing down. So I bought three sets? - I can let you have one maybe two if you like? Jakey(UK) (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Castle Newbie Recommendations

(...) I actually like the interior design on Night Lord's Castle... it looks very much like it might be plausible for a main room inside a real castle (w/ fireplace, nice subtle coloring, etc) But from the *outside*... BLECH! (...) Some of the (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

  5905 and 5906

I was just looking at the list of Jungle sets, and I've seen all of them except for these two small sets (5905 and 5906). Are these promotional sets, or S@H only, or are they available like any other set? If they are available like any other set, (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) --snip-- (...) That's a good point. I don't have both models in front of me right now but I remember that I didn't like the bulky wheels of the BB. My original adequate.com review of the BB also mentioned something about the tail dragging on (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: My favorite Adventurer sets

(...) Agree wholeheartly! I have converted the biplane into a two-seater. Then I put a female skeleton (i.e., skeleton with a wig) into the front seat, to stage that gruesome scene from the English Patient. (I tried using a mummy instead of a (...)   Light Blue Body Parts

Hi, I was just wondering if minifig legs, torsos, arms, and helmets are available in that seemingly hard-to-get light blue color? I need them deperately, and I really am not in the mood to paint so many pieces. To anyone out there reading this, (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: GULP (was Re: sproaty's responses)

(...) Barbara pointed out the delicacies of litigation and that Greater Utah Lego People sounds like it's officially sponsored by TLG. We came up with a few more ideas: Greater Utah Lego Fans -- GULF, the joke being that Utah is a land-locked state (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc)

Joseph Gonzalez wrote (...) I have to disagree with you here, Joseph. The only thing I like about the Biwing Baron is the "rotary" engine ( a pity lego didn't make it actually rotate, though it's the work of only a minute or two to make it do so). (...)   Re: Castle Newbie Recommendations

(...) --snippage-- (...) I hear quite a bit that the 6097-Night Lord's Castle is on discount these days. The principle model is kind of stinky, but I would still recommend picking this set up for the amount of castle walls, pillars, and trap doors (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)
