RE: The Scout vs. the RCX

(...) I'm in trouble, I have both, for a combined age of 21, about 1/2 my age . I guess I need at least another Scout and another Rcx to get into the next decade...;>) Jeff jeffrey.hazen@northmill.net (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Windows CE and IrDA

I was thinking about WinCE today, and read through some of the old threads on this topic. For what it's worth, there is a WinCE program available to emulate a tv remote.   Re: Less-Common Colors

Re: [OT] decoding the LEGO #9738 IR Remote Control

Re: a couple of new-bot questions from a generally quiet lurker

(...) IIRC, the files it produces are not actually representations of the code directly, but representations of where the icons are on the RCX Code screen. Since the first two questions have been well answered, I'll take on #3 and #4. (...) You can't generate an srec from RCX Code or Robolab.   RE: IRPD revisited

(...) Correct. You need to learn how to build your touch sensors in a smarter way. The most intuitive way is to have a feeler arm that presses a button when it touches the wall.
