  The Scout vs. the RCX

I played with a Scout over the weekend, and build two of the models. Summary: If you like the RCX, skip the Scout. I had to get up at 0445 to enable an 0600 check-in and 0700 flight from Prestwick to Stansted. Chris Dee had offered a lift from there to Jon's, and was waiting at the airport on my arrival. We arrived at Jon's at 0935. What followed was 14 hours (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

I used to go to Lehigh U. I liked it out there, the cable service was always very good. 35/Mo. is cheap. I pay 40/mo for Austin TW RR. I'm about to drop it because the speed has dropped a lot, and their tech support ppl are a** holes. If in the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Not out in the UK Yet

Cable modems and ADSL are being launched head-to-head in march next year in the UK, so nearly all British (and probably European) visitors have to make do with the venerable analogue modem. Nick Allan ======== Madness takes its toll. Please have (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
