Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

Now, though, with the price of 17" monitors having dropped through the floor and even the cheapest of new systems being able (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

(...) Well, if you truly want to make your pages friendly for the VAST majority of users who have modem connections, the number of people with cable or ADSL or even ISDN shouldn't matter. No cable modem access available in Knoxville right now, (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

This week I have only used 540*440, 740*500, 620*720, 1024*768, and (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Space stations?

Hello all, Anyone ever made a large space station /space port? I think it would be fun to make a space port with some monrail tracks and large quarter domes and possibly a landing pad. Or a space station and with docking ports/airlocks. Soon, when I (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

I am with Matthew on this one. Another good reason to design to 640 x 480 is that the text wraps to an easier to read line than full screen 1024 x 768 (or larger). Also, some folks have older video cards that do not support such large resolutions. (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
