(...) Hello Kekoa - - I apologize for not being able to make myself clear. I want to use the LEGO #9738 to control robots that use something other that the RCX for a controller. I envision a Sharp GP1U581Y IR receiver driving a PIC. The PIC will (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

On James' page at (URL) are a bunch of train models with instructions. Did anyone ever get copies of the .dat files for these? Would it be OK to include some of his trains in Datsville? -John Van (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) It seems like you could get about 3-4 bits for each color if you were only using one input port. That's not very good resolution. Perhaps a better way would be to design a color sensor and use a pic chip for it's brain. It could sample all (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Yep, I've decided I want 5 of each of most of the sets, and 3-4 of the rest. This promo is going to hit my pocketbook HARD, I'm going to have to sell some more 5571s to cover it :-/ At a supposed $68/set of 5, it's going to hurt. (...) -- | Tom (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
