I was bidding on a 5540 Model Team formula car, and only one other bidder
bid on it. $30 starting bid, and I got it for $32!
True, it has no box, and I have to pay shipping from Paris, but I've wanted
one for a while and seen some rather obscene prices on this set, so I'm
VERY happy with my "find" ojn Ebay ;-)

| (...) I had a similar FOTM, I got a 733 Universal on eBay for $30, that went for over $80 just a few days earlier. Very strange. This set has 8 blue outside corner slopes in it, as well as 8 inside corners and a variety of other useful bricks, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
