I didn't get details but these are my thoughts: My understanding is that George Lucas had (and still has) a lot of say about the StarWars product. It is conceivable that he wanted to see how the color orange produced prior to the release of the (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Got up in the middle of the night, moved the slip-clutch to a different position in the drive train (now attached directly to the motor shaft, in fact). Get much better results -- can drive across carpet without breaking a sweat. Should have thought (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

Another alternative is to do it within Visio (which in addition to state shapes also has a great lakes shape, and has ontario as well, I believe, which we had discussed including), and then export to a .gif or .jpg (...) While travelling on business, I found a small toy shop which carries Lego and believe me they sure take advantage of the fact that they are the only Lego supply for about 45 miles.
