  Re: FOTW at KMART

If it were me, and I thought they were intentionally misleading the public, I would contact the consumer affairs office of your state's attorney general's office. One call from the AG's office to the owner of the franchise, and I can confidently say (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  6444

I was browsing through my local toystore yesterday, and of course I went to the Lego section. I looked around, nothing new. But then I noticed something behind a 6426, a bit of yellow and grey, I quickly took out the 6426, and to my astonishment, I (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

I recall someone talking about removing the friction from a switch rail. Do you know how to open up the rail without damaging it? Eric (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: layout of Datsville

(...) My home town of Morro Bay, CA has one block of one street one-way. I think the explanation was that the city gets more money from state or county with that minimum. (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: RCX 'brick connectors' and how-they-work??

On the subject of making connector blocks, I have been very successful with taking the conductor strips you get as a S@H service pack, hacking two squares out, slotting one edge of each of the 2x2s, soldering wires to that side, slotting the inside (...)   Re: The History Of LEGO Sloped Bricks - Part 1

Chris, Go for the hard part first (try for the 1x3x2 blue window). If you find a seller, then go for the easy part, the 1x2x2. Okay, here's the anchored version. Just back 'er into the skirting and unhitch. Complete with used-tire planters.
