  commercial accents  [DAT]

Perhaps the proper title should be "restaraunt" accents, but since I plan on making more of these for different business, "commercial" should do.   Re: Automatic sorting

I just got one of (...) Next time you go to KMart, look next to the PLANO boxes for a one-sided yellow box with adjustable storage compartments. I use these, and at only $4 each they really can't be beat. Troy (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)

Zach's third LEGO auction (update 3) - Blacktrons, Ice Planet, Metro Station, Dolphin Point...

Here is the latest update. Many open items still remain. Bid status will start to advance in about 3 days. Welcome to my third RTL auction. It has been about 18 months since my last auction, time for another one to clear some of my closet space and (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Brian, Thanks for putting that up. I can't get the "trial of Filemaker" link to work. Can you check it again? Thanks, -Phil (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  ldlite

I hope this is in the right group... (sorry if it isn't) When rendering models in LDLite with rotation on and continuous display, I noted that that kind of setup would make an awesome screensaver, especially if the model is large, i.e. a home from (...)   Re: New Lego challenge !

(...) To be more specific, the "right hand rule" is not a recursive algorithm at all in the classic sense. We like to think of it that way because the "traveler" will traverse parts of the maze repeatedly, in the worst case the whole maze. However, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Datsville: crane2 (exponents?)

(...) If not a bug, at least a nit. I think if you open the file in LDAO's editor, select the whole text and MoveExact by 1, then move it all back, LDAO will get rid of the exponents. -John Van (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville: crane2 (exponents?)  [DAT]

For some reason, the lines with exponents don't render in ldlite when I use the dat hyperlink in web mode. ldlite, ldraw and l3p/povray render them fine locally. I made it in MLcad. Is this a bug? There is no need for e-15 exponents anyway so I (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville--Town Hall

(...) It conceivable. I haven't put it in the town yet, so it may actually be too big. I've got the space for it, but it may look out of place being so large. It's a government building, so it's supposed to look oversized, with 12-15 foot ceilings (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Datsville Updated

(...) Nope, Win95. When he gets around to it, Todd's going to make a little routine to do that. Your info may be of help to him, though. -John Van (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Datsville: crane  [DAT]

I'm posting this as a mpd this time. Sooner or later Datsville is going to need an office building for it's residents to work in. This is a modular crane that can be adjusted in height for any project, and the arm can be rotated about the crane top. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: FOTW at KMART

It is law in Michigan. There is also a law about scanning items wrong, if the price is different, you get 10X the amount of difference between prices.   Re: FOTW at KMART

(...) I'm no lawyer, but I have heard that that store was legaly obliged to sell that game for the marked price.   RE: Automatic sorting

(...) Terry, consider using the PLAN0 37xx boxes. Two of them, (one with special mods) will hold an entire Mindstorms set. They are more transparent than the two sided box. Also, sometimes Walmart has the softsided PLANO tackle bag (black) with (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)
