  Re: Four Wheel Base

I disassembled quite some (lego) models, I also use differential steering. I position the wheels like most models on a square (so width and length of wheel base is equal). Funny thing about a square is that a circle can be drawn from the middle (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Automatic sorting

I'm about to start teaching a robotics class for 7th and 8th graders and will have 6 Mindstorms kits. I just got one of the PLANO 1126 boxes at KMart for $9.90 These boxes have two sides: Good, but how about looking for stuff?? Can you who use these (...)   RE: Space shuttle (#8480) kits available

Greetings, I just received a new catalog from Lego on the 10th of September. You can buy it directly from them for $158. They must have a few in stock if they took the time and expense to reprint the picture in the catalog. <<...>> -----Original (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Train Idea Book?

There are two Train ideas books - 7777 (82 pages of the 12volt trains, my favorite) and 242 (100 pages of older trains). They are both tough to find and expensive, like most Train related Lego products, but there are scans of 7777 on (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train Idea Book?

7777 springs to mind. I found scans of this book a while back, it's a treat. I have *once* seen a paper copy. It is hard to find in the flesh, if someone had a copy they were itching to sell, it would be swell if they contacted me... Try this URL: (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Metroliner and Crocodile Engine Wanted...

Even if you forgive the box and some missing (even a few unique...) parts, about the lowest you're going to find both of these unless someone gives you a below market price is around 300-350. IMHO. I am probably (at some point) going to sell my (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) A call stack is not an absolute requirement to do recursive processing, it just makes it easier. I have written recursive processes with only an array. -Wes (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
