  Re: NXT and iPod touch

Hi all. Now it is possible to control the NXT from every Apple iOS device. (URL) (13 years ago, 29-Feb-12, to lugnet.robotics)

Attempting to replace LUGNET server(s) (again)

Dear LUGNET Community, as you may or may not have noticed we have had a few issues with out main LUGNET server recently. During the last outage we tried to move everything over to new hardware but failed due to architectural incompatibilities of the (...) (13 years ago, 29-Feb-12, to lugnet.announce) !

Re: Mathematical proof that you can't build anything with LEGO bricks

(...) In terms of using specific elements as incentive to buy more sets, it certainly is a trend. They finally picked up on a complaint that the Star Wars fans have been voicing for ten years, which is that we wanted a wider variety of minifigs. Now (...)   Re: 3D printers

(...) I built a Prusa 3D printer. I've had it for about 6 months. (one of the reasons I've been quiet on Lugnet) I have tried to print Lego, and while my success with it was limited, I lay that solely at the feat of not getting the printer fully (...) (13 years ago, 28-Feb-12, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Mathematical proof that you can't build anything with LEGO bricks

(...) From what I've heard from LEGO, they might occasionally do that with a particular product line, but each one is evaluated independently. So, whether or not Ninjago will have alternate models is a totally separate discussion from whether or not (...) (13 years ago, 28-Feb-12, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) He's got a (half baked) hypothesis. He wrote a paper 10 years ago and is still milking it. Don't confuse him with data. OK, that was harsh, but that's what I come away with, without detracting from the agreement points we DID find here. Like (...) (13 years ago, 28-Feb-12, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Thanks for the reminder on that T-shirt, Matt! Looking forward for more pictures on that event. Three Lego train clubs in your area is really a lot activity. BTW: Where can I find more info on the coming event in June? Best Regards, Ben (13 years ago, 28-Feb-12, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: 3D printers

  Kartoffelrækkerne

Last week Esben K. posted pictures of his model of Kartoffelrækkerne (a quarter in Copenhagen built in the late 19th century).
