  Lego logo on stud part

Hi everyone, I've used a number of different programs to convert LDraw/MLCad files into other 3D formats (mainly DXF, OBJ and 3DS). The converters I've used are ldrdat2dxf, ldrdat2obj and 3DWin. Is there anyway to convert the stud parts in a model (...) (14 years ago, 27-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

  MLCad.ini 2010-03 Update Now Available

Hi, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2010-03. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator. Download the file from my website: (URL) w. (14 years ago, 27-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.announce)

(...) thanks very much for the follow-up. Nice loco. though others may, I have no problem with clones. (URL) red facade on the red building are mega bloks. It is to good a color to pass up IMO. Jonathan (14 years ago, 27-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) Now don't be silly. One just has to MOD the new containers down to classic 4 wide standard Lego shipping containers. Just like one has to MOD the Maersk container ship's containers up to 4 wide standard to fit in a classic town/train harbor (...) (14 years ago, 26-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) Well if the set is like the Emerald Night and does not come with the track and motor parts, I could see this being in a similar price range. After all the flat beds and yard-tractor (truck) aren't significantly more than the tender and dinning (...) (14 years ago, 26-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Anyone else tried the Firgelli actuators?

(...) That's something expected because the encoder is a relative position one, just like in the regular NXT motor. (...) I have not noticed that - could you send me your program? Philo (14 years ago, 26-Jan-11, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: candy and ***** size: was Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) I can build that train in 8 studs. Because 8 is better. (URL) Cale (14 years ago, 26-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: candy and ***** size: was Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) I'm suddenly reminded of "Name That Tune". Except in LEGO studs: "I can build that train in 6 studs!" "I can build it in 4 studs!" "Ok, build that train!" DaveE (14 years ago, 26-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) Well, some of us are big enough-- at least, that's what she said! (...) lol, it's too bad that I'm not further along with my 14 wides, because when I get rolling, I'll be ramping up the rhetoric BIG time! JOHN (14 years ago, 25-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

candy and ***** size: was Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) That was pretty close to what I thought when I read the post. Extra fun for all! Tim PS. Although a real man with no need for compensation would do it in 6w. (14 years ago, 25-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) You're a braver man than I. As I think about it, though, that's a totally cool idea! Imagine if you could get it to be some sort of automated hopper delivery system... Put a trigger on the side of the train that opens up the hopper as it goes (...) (14 years ago, 25-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) Well, there *is* a very practical reason to run some stuff 8 wide. An 8 wide hopper is big enough that you can put last year's cheap Halloween candy in it, and let kids carefully grab some from the train. Either let them get it from the slowly (...)   Re: 10219 Maersk Container train set

(...) We all want to be bigger, John. Tim PS. Been ages since we had a good size war here :) (14 years ago, 25-Jan-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
