Re: LifeLites and the Galaxy Explorer

(...) I formally declare that to be neat-o, and you can quote me. Incidentally, this is like the dinosaur thread or something... (14 years ago, 19-Jul-10, to lugnet.org.ca.obb, FTX)

Re: Toy Story Train: Life Imitating Art, or Not?

(...) No. That is, I don't think so. The train features in a "make believe" scene at the start of the movie, and the version we see at this time looks VERY different from the LEGO set. Not only is there a coal car, but there are at least three (...) (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: LifeLites and the Galaxy Explorer

(...) Yes, Rob's pretty clever, all right. Tons of good stuff! I think the neatest thing (so far?) he's cooked up is actually the joint project with BrickForge to make streetlights that work. He's doing the electronics and BrickForge did a (...) (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.org.ca.obb, lugnet.general, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX) !

Toy Story Train: Life Imitating Art, or Not?

Here is a question for those of you who have seen the movie, Toy Story 3. I haven't yet, but hope to, soon. The question is: Is the (URL) 7597> the exact same toy in the movie (that is, does Andy own LEGO set #7597), or is set 7597 LEGO's version of (...) (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Toy Story 3 train escape/chase 7597?

(...) Yes, it is compatible. It uses the normal, LEGO train wheels. Of course, it comes unpowered. HTH, JOHN (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Questions about Toy Story minifig Woody

(...) Well, I'm not really modeling any particular period, so cowboy hats en masse won't be happening, but the slope idea is a good one to keep in mind. I'll be using regular, fleshie heads, not Woody, et al., and I'll be swapping out the torsos, (...) (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Toy Story 3 train escape/chase 7597?

Does this fit on the RC/9V tracks, or does it require something different? I have see photos of it, and the three carriages do look like they have the wheel set for the RC/9v tracks. (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.general)

Re: Questions about Toy Story minifig Woody

(...) I'd actually been wondering about that for quite a while before actually being able to buy my first Toy Story sets. Everyone showed Woody from the front, but nobody posted a pic of the back of his legs that I could find, so I wasn't sure if (...) (14 years ago, 17-Jul-10, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Questions about Toy Story minifig Woody

(...) Hey Dave, thanks for that info; I was wondering about the exact height of the new, longer legs. With this exact information, I calculate that my figs will be a touch over 5'3" tall without wigs, and so I'll call them 5 1/2' tall: poifect:-) (...)   Re: LDraw.org 2010-02 Parts Update Now Available

Thanks for the summary of tools. Following on from my recent post "Lego - Anakin's Jedi Starfighter 7669", what's the best tool for adding a sticker to an existing part? I've started experimenting with BMP2Ldraw32 to create a sticker DAT file. (...) (14 years ago, 17-Jul-10, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Questions about Toy Story minifig Woody

(...) Woody picks up about 1/2" over a standard minifig, but a good chunk of that is his massive noggin and hat. The leg pieces are three studs long when seated, much like the standard legs are two studs long, so you'll actually get about 5/16" (...) (14 years ago, 17-Jul-10, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Questions about Toy Story minifig Woody

(...) That's actually what I figured. Most of your comments lately have pointed to the maxifig scale trains so it was a fairly good bet. You could even fiddle around with extending the torsos to make them taller still. Not sure how it'd work but it (...) (14 years ago, 17-Jul-10, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Set 8482

Questions about Toy Story minifig Woody

(URL) I've yet to purchase any of the new Toy Story sets, and I am curious about the new, taller Woody minifig. Here are my questions: Is it that just the legs and arms are larger/longer? Are the arms removable? Is the torso the same as a regular (...) (14 years ago, 16-Jul-10, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Set 8482
