Re: CFD: Scaling Buildings in Datville

(...) Yeah, what Jacob said. If, in the future, Datville will be accessable via VRML, the discrepancy would be noticable right away as the viewer zooms down the screet. I think it would be distracting. Better to keep what we can at scale from the (...) (27 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

  digital camera lego pics

Ok, so we got a new digital camera. Plan to do somethin' really cool eventually, but for now, Karen has thrown a few pictures on her web site. Take a look at (URL). (Nothing as fancy as actually having an HTML document -- just the jpgs. Someday, I (...) (27 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Looking for HTML criticism

Hey all, I just re-vamped my main index page, and I'm looking for feedback. I'm mainly interested in discussing what pure-HTML tricks I could use to make it look more professional. The pages affected are: (URL) - jsproat (27 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Redesigned website finally online!

(...) I've got one question, do you really need to use JavaScript to access the enlarged images? At work I have JavaScript turned off because it constantly crashes Netscape. (27 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  El Camino  [DAT]

Or rather: an unfinished vehicle that uses styling cues from a large variety of El Camino vintages. The interior is unfinished, and some parts behind the grill and at the firewall and rear cab wall are not modelled exactly, but with some large (...)   CFD: Scaling Buildings in Datville

What does everyone think about using scaling to bring some models (esp. large buildings) into scale with the rest of Datville? As I see it, the benefit is that we can make use of, and show off, those buildings (such as Anders' rendition of his own (...) (27 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
