This is a call for participation in a Motorized LEGO Boat Race to be held at BrickMagic - a LEGO Fan event in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 7, 8, and 9, 2010 - Mother’s Day weekend! I had posted (URL) the rules> awhile back & they have worked well (...) (15 years ago, 3-Mar-10, to lugnet.events, lugnet.announce, FTX) !

Looking to swap BL inventory for an NXT

I am looking for an NXT. I don't need a complete set and used is ok but I would like to get the brick, software, sensors, motors, and cables. I am willing to aggressively negotiate a trade1 using inventory from my BrickLink store. If you are (...) (15 years ago, 2-Mar-10, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

Re: February 27th, 2010 SMART meeting

We had a great meeting last Saturday. A number of robots were able to complete the mini-challenge. Everyone who built a robot for the challenge agreed this was one of the more interesting ones to work on. The March meeting is in four weeks. Since (...)   Re: 2010/2011 LDraw.org Steering Committee: Voting and results

(...) Actually, that says that the election must happen by 01 March, and new Steering Committee members become active 30 days later. So I guess 31 March is the official start date. --Travis (15 years ago, 2-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: 2010/2011 LDraw.org Steering Committee: Voting and results

  LUGNET Group on Facebook

Hi all, when browsing Facebook recently, I realized that quite a few LUGNET folks are active networkers there as well. Not sure what it may be good for in the long run, but I took the opportunity and created a LUGNET group on Facebook - it is (...) (15 years ago, 2-Mar-10, to lugnet.announce) !

  Re: example texture files

(...) LDVLib doesn't allow you to edit models at all. You point it at an existing file and tell it to load. Having said that, if you wanted to do some (most?) of the work, it could probably be made to be usable for a minifig modeler, since (...) (15 years ago, 2-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

2010/2011 LDraw.org Steering Committee: Voting and results

As only (URL) five people have accepted> nomination for a position on the 2010/2011 LDraw SteerCo and the SteerCo only has five positions I think we can dispense with voting. The new LDraw SteerCo for 2010/2011 is thus: Kevin Clague, Travis Cobbs, (...) (15 years ago, 2-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: example texture files

(...) By the way, I'm still not sure whether it's really worth it to attempt this in ldglite, or if it'd be more worthwhile to try something that might actually end up being useful, like say a minifig modeler (or maybe an lsynth GUI) built around (...)   Re: example texture files

(...) (URL) that some of the files may have BFC issues. Look at 973pa9.dat for a file that has fallback geometry. As a side note, rebel_tile.dat (and the part it points to) have bad texture coordinates, so the texture is mirrored. --Travis (15 years ago, 1-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  example texture files

(...) I've been tossing this around for a while, and while I'm not sure who'd really use it in ldglite considering LDView is so much better suited for modern OpenGL use, it still seems like it'd be fun to experiment with. So, are there any example (...) (15 years ago, 1-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
