Legoland CA has a small selection of "crushed box" discounts at 15% off at the Big Shop - about 10 or so varied sets. I didn't inquire if the 10% member discount also applies. Here is yet another possible solution that I have found effective for something very similar (a vehicle that reverses its direction when it hits an obstacle).
