  Re: Minifig Segway

(...) OK, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I think the plastic wheels are little too big for my Segway, but if I ever get a hold of some, I can use them and call it an off-road version; just the thing for the commuter who wants to pretend he's (...) (15 years ago, 15-Aug-09, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Custom Santa Fe GP-38 Loco w/Yellow & Blue Warbonnet scheme.

(...) Hi Tim, you are correct. S-scale would have been the best fit, unfortunately, this particular scheme was not available in S, so I was stuck with HO.   Re: Looking for replacement CD-Rom for Droid Developer Kit (9748)

Hi Mark If you can't get your hands on the original dev kit CD-ROM, you should be able to program it with NQC. If the hardware is the same as the Dark Side Development Kit (pretty sure it is) NQC works brilliantly. Cheers Tom (...) (15 years ago, 15-Aug-09, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Looking for replacement CD-Rom for Droid Developer Kit (9748)

Picked up a used Droid Developer Kit (set #9748) via garage sale. Had the instruction manuel, the micro-scout and missing less than a handful of parts (easily replaced).   Custom Santa Fe GP-38 Loco w/Yellow & Blue Warbonnet scheme.

Well, I built this MOC in about 5 days, (not counting the time waiting for parts) but waited 30 days to finally get decals on it. Unfortunately, O-scale was too big, and HO-scale is too small, but I had to go with HO, cause it at least fit. (URL) (...) (15 years ago, 15-Aug-09, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !

--snip-- (...) The majority of LDraw users I know of outside LUGNET (flickr, facebook and TBB) use MLCAD and LDview for their LDraw experience.
