Hi.
It’s been awhile. From what I’ve seen, Moonbase is more or less dead, and
more or less dead at Lego conventions. I suspect that like a lot of building
trends, it may have just run its course...which is fine. But I’ve always felt
bad about letting the Moonbase pages go when my site (zemi.net) got hacked and
went under last year.
SNIP!
I’ll be happy to pass on any information to renew it that I can.
Moonbase is dead. Long live Moonbase.
Please email me at jon@zemi.net if you’re interested.

Jon:
We had a small contingent of moonbase modules at Brickworld 2009. You can see
the pictures
here on Bill Ward’s Flickr Photostream. I think we only had about 5-6 modules,
but it was nice to see some people still carrying on with moonbase. As you
mentioned, there seems to have been a decline in moonbase module building as of
late. I’m not sure why, but I am certain that there will be a “moonbase
revival” in the coming years and it would be worth having the information stored
somewhere on a wiki for when this time comes.
