When I'm done with my current project I think I will see about starting to create a bones system for LDraw minifigs so that they can be posed in a manner similar to a lot of official Lego software. I think I will do this in Daz, which AFAIK is free (...) (16 years ago, 6-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

All- Having taken MOCs as large as whole LTC layouts from LA to BrickFests in DC and LA to PDX, I have some experience in the matter. I made a recent discovery that may interest some of you. Bravo! Thank you very much for the great improvement! Although not specifically listed, it fixed several bugs the older versions had for me. (...) I believe that MLCad scans all files in unofficial directories at startup. So having a whole bunch of parts in unofficial directories slows down startup, but allows the directories to be used without having to rescan for parts every time a new (...) (16 years ago, 5-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)
