  Re: BR 9F steam engine

(...) Carl, this has to be the best Lego steam engine I have ever seen (and six-wide to boot!). There are just too many details to point out. Great work! (16 years ago, 27-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, FTX)

Another part I'd LOVE to see in its own two-pack

Crater plates in tan. This would avoid any bley kerfuffle AND the color would match the landscapes of so many Classic Space box pictures! Plus, they'd have the studs in the craters to increase building possibilities. Many an AFOL friend of mine has (...) (16 years ago, 27-Sep-08, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: New iPaB Wall View on BrickBuildr

(...) I'll make sure to gather that info when I'm there. I'll be going to the store in the Northbrook Mall, the Woodfield store in Schaumburg and possibly the new Discovery Center close to the Woodfield Mall.   Ordering custom-cut plastic gears for Legos

I've seen web pages about Lego clocks such as this one: (URL) it want it to be my hobby to make a clock out of Legos. I'm trying to copy a foreign clock and I'm waiting to get contacted back with info about the number of teeth for every gear. Lego (...) (16 years ago, 26-Sep-08, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Strange object discovered on Mars!!

(...) Maybe! First, before they can expand their search to other parts of Mars or Earth, Master Control will have to deploy more equipment and astronauts to possibly determine the origin of this or if there are any others like it in the solar (...) (16 years ago, 26-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The New Expanded Lego Collectors Guide on CD

The New Expanded Lego Collectors Guide on CD

About 3 months ago I posted an announcement for LEGO Ambassadors about getting the new 1,500 page Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts Collectors Guide on CD. I got quite a few EMAILs, but due to a near death experience in the family, I didn't reply (mom is (...) (16 years ago, 26-Sep-08, to lugnet.ambassadors)

Re: Strange object discovered on Mars!!

(...) Very nice! ...One might argue this is not a "monolith" as you say, but a megalith, as it has more than one column. There's also an interesting swastika shape from overhead - though to put aside any fears of Nazism, I'd point out that symbol (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: BR 9F steam engine

Awesome steam engine! Standout bits in my opinion are the lantern design and the brown bits scattered about. Nice attention to lighting details too! -Stefan- (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Chemical Tanker Cars - Rolling Stock

(...) Wow. That's wild! I've never even seen the Bricworx site. That's pretty crazy how close mine came to Steve's. Mine was actually based off of a picture on James' Brickshelf page. You can see it (URL) here>. Crazy how we builders sometimes think (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Chemical Tanker Cars - Rolling Stock

(...) I respect James Mathis for his great construction method finds and MOC ideas, but I believe that the original credit for this type of tanker design should go to Steve Barile, who together with Dwayne Towell is the co-owner of custom set (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: New iPaB Wall View on BrickBuildr

(...) Well, I have all the LEGO stores in the database, except for the newest ones, but it's not hard to add them in. However, most of the LEGO stores are "hidden" from view (for now) until I can find someone who can help admin those stores. As I (...)   Re: New iPaB Wall View on BrickBuildr

(...) Is there a method to adding a LEGO store to the list? I will be going to a couple of the LEGO stores in Chicago in about a month and would be willing to gather the contents of their P.A.B. walls...as well as a list of what's in them. ;-) I (...)
