Brisbane libraries interested in having Lego displays

At the Indooroopilly library recently there's been a small Lego display, which seemed to be a strange mix of 1960s Lego (hey, I was there, so I remember what those parts looked like) and a few recemt sets. Anyhow, thinking that maybe there was an (...) (16 years ago, 28-Jul-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: How to set up the LSynth Beta for NXT cables.

Hi Mike, 1.) Don't you think that those how have coded all this have the right to decide when and how they present it? 2.) Do you always spoil other peoples work without asking? 3.) Don't you really think they would announce a beta which needs such (...) (16 years ago, 28-Jul-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Here's my photos: (URL) I don't think it was from lack of cameras that there's not too many photos; I think it was because of the show's proximity to Disneyland, personally. :) I'm kicking myself for not getting more pictures of NMRA. --Mike (16 years ago, 28-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

(...) Hi ROSCO, How did I miss this? Despite the price, I'll include a couple in my next order from shop at home and then I'll be able to hide the receiver! Thank you for the tip and nice comments. Greetings, David (16 years ago, 27-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic)

New Pneumatic Component Set from LEGO Education

Hope that I'm not bringing up old news here, but I noticed that LEGO Education is offering a new set of pneumatic components for pre-order. I was a little surprised to see this, since I thought that pneumatics had been all but retired in favor of (...) (16 years ago, 28-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 8-Wide Rutland Gondola

(...) Yeah. The blue pins bother me, but they don't stand out as much when the car is on a layout. I do think I might try finding a handful of the dark bley technic half pins that came with the Batboat set though. They'll still be seen, but they (...)   Superscooper!

It's been a few years since I posted anything of note here on LUGNET, so it feels good to be back. I saw one of these on TV and the idea of a plane that could scoop up water and dump it on a wildfire kind of appealed to me. So did the idea of using (...)   Re: Minifig scale?

(...) Yes. I tend to think of 'minifig scale' as anything built to fit minifigs, rather than an exact ratio. It's all an approximation with lego. (16 years ago, 28-Jul-08, to lugnet.build, FTX)
