  TRU sale until April 25th

I didn't get a TRU flyer this week, but I noticed they have one online, prices good through Friday April 25th. Not 100% certain these deals are the same in stores as online, but I expect them to be. Page 1. Buy 2 of these for $40, regular $26.99. (...) (16 years ago, 20-Apr-08, to lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) Guys Sorry to rain on your parade but that is a "FUGLY" and Lego was not made to make tanks. Here are some real tanks so why not just leave AFV's to the experts in modelling?? << (URL) << (URL) >> << (URL) >> Cheers Peter (16 years ago, 20-Apr-08, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

  Re: 9v Speed regulator

(...) I stopped using the LEGO power supply a long time ago. I use one similar to that shown below: (URL) has numerous connection pins and you can change the voltage. I let children operate the trains and I turn the voltage down until the trains go (...) (16 years ago, 20-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 9v Speed regulator

(...) If I were to get the UK version, all I would need to get would be a pin converter to work with Australian sockets - is that correct? We have 240v, and if I understand correctly, that is all that is needed for it to work. (16 years ago, 20-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 9v Speed regulator

(...) The LEGO power supplies all produce AC current, while most interchangable power supplies that you'll find produce DC current. I know this can overload and burn out the bridge rectifiers on the RCX 1.0, but I don't know if it'll be problematic (...) (16 years ago, 19-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) Hmm, yeah I'm a bit disappointed in how it doesn't let you group events so they show up in the same place horizontally. So, if we want to use this in its current state, we'd have to drop the version dates which isn't good. I hope the group (...) (16 years ago, 20-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

RE: GBC display in Fana'Briques, June 28-29 - call for participants

Jean-Marc, Unfortunately, I won't be making it this year. It's great to see GBC still making waves in France! I plan on an update to the website soon. If there are some links on it that people want me to add, just drop me an email at (...) (16 years ago, 20-Apr-08, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

This was the best I could come up with: (URL) I created one big event for LDView spanning from its original release until Dec 31 2010, and then created a point event for each release. --Travis (16 years ago, 19-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) Never mind. After playing with it, I see that it doesn't want things that occur in sequence to be at the same vertical location. --Travis (16 years ago, 19-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) Can't you just make the end date of the current release of any software be some point in the future? Then, make the end date of each previous version one day before the release date of the next version. If it's doing what it sounds like based (...)   Re: 9v Speed regulator

(...) Well... maybe. By that I mean that the LEGO train transformer (as well as the RCX and NXT), are supposed to be supplied with 9-12 V *AC* current. Most little wal transformers you see supply *DC* voltage. Note that a lot of folks have used DC (...) (16 years ago, 19-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Double articulated locomotive

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) snip (...) snip (...) I could not get the prog to do what I want. It places the events on the line it wants, not like I want. I did not find a way to tell the prog that I want some events on the same line. I think for what we want to do this (...) (16 years ago, 19-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) THANK YOU. I used the start/end for the beginning/end of MLCad in the current timeline. Want to code these up in the XML format and email or post for me to include? Mike Heide suggested using start/end points for each version so there's a line (...) (16 years ago, 19-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
