Re: The Blue, now the New Green!

(...) Wow! The new green works really well, allowing the creations to stand out against the background, despite its obvious brightness and interest. It's remarkable how the overall effect of same creations, in the same pose, can appear to change (...) (17 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

  New Trains-n-Town website.

Hey folks, Many of you know that I setup and have run the Save 9V Trains site for some time. Well the usefulness of that site has come to an end. Being the insane LEGO fan that I am I just had to do something else. To that end I have set up a new (...) (17 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town) !!

Re: Which CAD program recommended for Mac??

(...) Moving things manually a long distance is cumbersome, even with the coarse grid. The inspector does show the coordinates of the selected part or submodel, although I'm not sure if that's what you mean by cursor coordinates. Note that if you do (...)   Re: Base plate thickness?

(...) 0.055 inch would be correct. It never crossed my mind that 0.5 = 1/2. I don't use my calipers often enough to correctly interpret its output every time I do. Lesson learned: Double, uh, no, triple-check the readout (and make shure I'm (...) (17 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.general)

Re: Which CAD program recommended for Mac??

(...) Yes, this is very annoying as using the arrow keys to move a part/assembly all the way across the model can be slow and painful, especially since Bricksmith doesn't seem to display cursor coordinates.   Re: Base plate thickness?

(...) Scott, I'm sorry; That can't be right. More than half an inch? Did you mean 0.055 inch? I'm talking about the thickness of a baseplate, the area without the studs, the distance a block would be above my desk if the block were sitting on a (...) (17 years ago, 4-Feb-08, to lugnet.general)

  Base plate thickness?

Hi all, I have this hankering to know the thickness of a baseplate. Not a regular plate, but a baseplate.
